Awhile back I joined the New York Trail & Ultra Running Meetup group, but until today I haven’t had a chance to go to any runs. Since I was off work for Labor Day, I decided to head up to Van Cortlandt Park and do a group run with the other members. I only did one loop (6.55 miles) because I had just done a long run, but I had a good time and it was a great chance to meet some people and also get a look at the VCP trails.
